Biblical Reformation starts with Biblical Exposition
What is the Michigan Expositors Summit?
The Michigan Expositors Summit, sponsored by the SMARBC, is an annual gathering of pastors, ministry leaders, and seminary students who come together to fellowship, network, and gain new tools to become better expositors of God's Word.
Our Program
Our program is an annual,. half-day seminar. We share a breakfast together, hear a few workshops from a guest speaker, have a Q&A time, and then have lunch. The full cost of this event is carried by Grace Baptist Church of Marshall and the SMARBC so it can be offered free to all interested pastors and students free of charge.

Our Speaker was Pastor Ken Brown
In 2001, Ken Brown and a small team of church planters established Community Bible Church in the downriver area of Metro Detroit. Today, CBC is a thriving ministry with hundreds of weekly attendees and new converts added to the church on a regular basis. Throughout his years of ministry, Ken has a displayed rare ability to connect with people of all backgrounds and to communicate the riches of God's Word to them in ways that all understand, yet without sacrificing his commitment to serious, expository preaching.
Ken received his education from the University of Michigan, Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and Westminster Theological Seminary (Pennsylvania). He serves at CBC with his wife, Kim, and their two daughters, Laynie and Anna. |
